Q: 1.I'm not sure if I'm eligible to take this course. How do I find out?
A: States have different regulatory agencies who approve the course. These regulatory agencies have different rules on how often you can take driving education courses and the purpose of the courses can vary from state to state or court to court (insurance reduction, point reduction, etc.). When you register for this course, this site will tell you whether the course is approved in your state or court. However, you should ALWAYS verify with your state or court before completing a driving safety course. Just be sure to take care of it BEFORE your assigned court date or due date. Back to TopQ: 2.How long will it take me to complete the course?
A: Though course lengths vary from state to state, typical courses are usually 4-6 hours in length. You can start and stop the course as much as you would like to. Back to TopQ: 3.Is there a time limit to complete this course?
A: You must complete the course within 180 days of registration. Any student who has not successfully completed the course within 180 days will be terminated without notice and will not be eligible for a refund. Back to TopQ: 4.How do you select the questions that I will be asked on a quiz?
A: Quiz questions are pulled randomly from a pool of questions developed for your specific course. Two people may get different questions because they are randomly selected. It’s the luck of the draw! Back to TopQ: 5.How long is the final exam?
A: The length of the final exam may vary and is determined by the state and county that issued your violation. The typical final is 25 questions, but could be longer depending on your state's requirements. Back to TopQ: 6.What will happen if I fail the final exam?
A: Depending on your state or court's regulations, you may have the opportunity to retake the final exam if you fail. The regulatory agency in your state mandates how many attempts you will have to take the final exam. Back to TopQ: 7.What should I do if I think I have spotted an error in the material?
A: At the bottom of each page, there is a button you can click that will e-mail your comments to the content team for review and verification. We appreciate your input! Back to TopQ: 8.Do I need to leave a comment on every page?
A: Not at all! We have a button on every page because it is easier to associate a specific comment with a particular page and find the material in the question. All "leave a commen" buttons are completely optional. Back to TopQ: 9.Are the statistics you quote outdated?
A: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) generally release traffic statistics 1-2 years after they are collected. We update the course material regularly to reflect the latest available statistics, which are not always from the year immediately prior. Back to TopQ: 10.Is your website secure?
A: Yes. An encrypted SSL connection requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus providing a high degree of confidentiality. Confidentiality is important for both parties to any private transaction. In addition, all data sent over an encrypted SSL connection is protected with a mechanism for detecting tampering--that is, for automatically determining whether the data has been altered in transit. Back to TopQ: 11.The pages on your site are not loading. What should I do?
A: If the pages for our site are not loading completely, you may want to disconnect your internet connection and log back in. This type of problem is typically caused by your Internet Service Provider or ISP and web traffic. If you continue to experience problems, we recommend disconnecting and returning at a later time to complete the course when internet traffic is not as heavy. If you are still having problems, you may call customer support at 800-990-2813. Back to TopQ: 12.Do I need any special software to take this course?
A: You do not need any special software to use our course. All you need is a web browser and a connection to the internet. We support Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher, Netscape Navigator 6.0, AOL 4.0 and higher, and most other browsers. There is no software to download and nothing saved to your hard drive. Some courses use the Macromedia Flash plugin. This product is free and can be downloaded and installed at registration Back to TopQ: 13.Do I need to save my work?
A: Your registration and payment information are automatically saved. You must finish each chapter quiz completely in order to receive credit for that chapter. Simply log in using your driver's license and password and we automatically keep track of the course work completed, so the next time you log in, you can pick up where you left off. You may have the option of having the certificate sent directly to the court on your behalf. However, this can only be done using one of our premium delivery services. We will not send a certificate to the court using regular mail as we have no way of verifying that the court actually received your certificate.
